Minor Puppy Dog1st: Denham's Dentgate Mulberry
A very impressive Pepper youngster. Everything just right for age. He has a lovely headpiece with nice dark eye and sweet expression. Correct bite. Lovely skull, stop and topknot. Correct ear set. Nicely arched neck leads into well laid shoulders. Well boned legs and feet. Lovely outline with gentle slope over the loin and good tail-set. Wearing a well trimmed jacket, he moved steadily and soundly and was well handled and presented. His confidence grew as the day went on and he went on to take BEST PUPPY IN SHOW. One with a promising future.
2nd: Mitchell's Dentgate Snowstorm
Similar in many ways to his littermate with lovely headpiece and expression, but not so well off for bone nor so correct in outline. Needs lots more ring experience, obviously, as he was very reluctant on the move.
Puppy Dog1st: Cox-Purcell's German Dandies' Zampano at Puddockswell
Nice shapely Mustard of 10 months. Good headpiece with lovely eye and expression and correct bite. Well presented in good quality coat and topknot. Nice neck and shoulders. Moves soundly fore and aft and with great confidence. Well handled.
2nd: Thomson's Dryfevalley Mister Todd
Mustard dog same age as 1 and similar in type. Again with lovely head and expression plus correct bite. Nice neck and front with well boned legs and feet. Really good quarters. 1 had the edge on coat preparation.
3rd: Cavanagh's German Dandies' Zorro at Puddockswell
Graduate Dog1st: Derry's Duneideann Back To My Roots at Vistca
Masculine mustard 2yrs male with impressive headpiece. Dark eye, super expression. Shown in beautifully presented quality jacket. Good front assembly. I would prefer slightly more length of body and more strength in his hindquarters. He is full of enthusiasm and showmanship but this is accompanied by rather high tail carriage.
Postgraduate Dog1st: Eriksson's Scottsbairn Glendouglas
Quality pepper youngster who appeared quite unhappy, leaning away from his owner/handler on the move. He possesses a lovely head, eye, expression and topknot. Won this class on his correct Dandie shape/classical outline. Lovely neck and front. Could carry more weight to advantage. Coat not quite at its best. I feel this handler would get so much more out of this dog if she used her voice to increase his confidence while moving.
2nd: Drake's Tollcross Tartan Tavish
A month younger than 1. This Pepper is one I have liked from the ringside. It was a close decision between these two young lads. Tavish is lovely typey youngster with super head, dark eye and correct bite. Not the classic Dandie top-line of 1. Another not in his best coat and lacking a little confidence on the day.
3rd: Small's Bettymac Dram O'Dalwhinnie at Rothesdandy
Limit Dog1st: Booth's Borderstone Kingman for Lannia
2? yr old Pepper. I believe I gave this young man BP when I last judged him. He has matured into an eye-catching dog. Lovely headpiece with dark expressive eyes. Correct stop and bite. Nice neck leads into well laid shoulders. And good front assembly. Shown in well prepared jacket, ribbed well back and moving soundly both ends. Just coming into his best.
2nd: Kurg's Hawkesmill Jefferson at Etsill
Another I have judged and placed well before. Pushed hard in this class. He is well constructed with good head and neck, correct bite. Good front and strong quarters, He showed very well enjoying himself in the ring.. Not the coat quality of 1.

Open Dog1st: Eriksson's Ch/WW/CIB/No/Se/Dk Ch. Inzievar Wins Gold
I?ve seen this quality 5yrs old Mustard Dandie male looking happier. Shown in a more severely trimmed jacket than normally but this just served to demonstrate the classically shaped outline of this dog with his correct balance of length to height, excelling in length. Depth and spring of rib. Totally sound coming and going and well set and correctly carried tail. Super head and expression, good topknot. Lovely neck and front completes the picture and though it was a close decision he could not be denied the CC.
2nd: Deacon's Ch./Am GCh. Pennywise On The Road Again
A totally different type to 1. He is a great showman and I can well understand the winning that he does because he comes into the ring saying ?Look at me?! Possesses a super headpiece, nice expression, stop and correct bite. Profuse topknot completes the head picture. He comes in owning the ring and really covers the ground well. Well boned and covered in a good harsh coat, he is well handled to get the best out of him. I preferred the balance of length to height of 1. and the gentler body shape, RCC.
Minor Puppy Bitch1st: Carpenter's Dentgate Frostedberries
Pepper litter sister to the BPD and very much the female edition of him. She has a lovely feminine headpiece with sweet expression, nice stop and bite. Shown in lovely quality coat, she has the correct body shape required by the standard being well ribbed back. She moves quite well, obviously inexperienced, and just needs more confidence to show off her many good breed points.
2nd: Bell's Reidswire Lady Bryghte
Another Pepper. Really sweet girl with pretty head and expression, correct bite etc. Well boned and ribbed with good body length but not the classic body shape of 1. Another needing to gain confidence on the move.
Puppy Bitch1st: Cox-Purcell's MyDan'd Wonderful Red Dragon at Puddockswell
10 mths Mustard. Exciting young bitch whose career I shall watch with interest. She just filled my eye as she entered the ring. Her body and coat development is just right for her age. Lovely balance of length to height and gentle body shape with well set tail.. Sweet head and expression. Won this class with ease. BPB. When it came to the later Puppy challenge had a sudden loss of confidence.
2nd: Miller's Dryfevalley Miss Muffet
Another Mustard and a month older. Really pretty youngster who excelled in movement. Very feminine throughout with good head and expression. Shown in good coat. Not quite the body shape of 1.
3rd: Bell's Reidswire Lady Bryghte
Junior Bitch1st: Russell's Hawkesmill Karamel
Stood alone in this class, this smart mustard, just out of puppy, has such a sweet head and expression with good stop and correct bite. Correct in rib and body shape. Moving well both ends with well set tail, she carries a coat of good quality. This young lady just needs time and will do some nice winning for her owner/handler.
Novice Bitch1st: Roberts de Fernandez's Bettymac Tootie Fruitie
Rather plump 4yr old Mustard (a working bitch, her owner advised me). She has a sweet head with dark eye and correct bite. Quality coat. Not enthusiastic about the mechanics of the show ring, but movement improved after a few attempts.
Graduate Bitch1st: Riach's Puddockswell Shadow Weaver
Very well presented 3? yr old Pepper with a lovely head and super expression. Good neck leading into nice front assembly. Correct balance of length to height with the desired outline.\Shown in good muscular condition and a really smart mover.
2nd: Dunipace's Hawkesmill Iolanthe for Loudounhill
4yrs, another pepper with a pretty feminine head, sweet expression and topknot. Nice quality coat. Typey Dandie who was carrying just a bit too much weight on the day.
Postgraduate Bitch1st: Drake's Tollcross Thistledown
Another Pepper of 2? yrs. Feminine headpiece with lovely eye and expression. Nice topknot. Good neck and shoulder placement. Well ribbed, maintaining the correct body shape. Beautifully low to ground and moving with great confidence.
2nd: Eriksson's Scottsbairn Marjorie Bruce
Mustard litter sister to the winner of PGD and many of the same remarks apply. A pretty headed quality bitch though not in her best coat and not enjoying her time in the ring today, appearing rather nervous and needing more reassurance from her handler. Rangier construction than 1.
Limit Bitch1st: Cox-Purcell's Puddockswell Margarita Pracatan
2 yrs Mustard. Another who could have been happier at first but settled as the class went on Lovely quality girl with good headpiece, neck and shoulder placement. She has well-boned legs and feet and excels in length and spring of rib giving lovely body shape and is a smooth mover.
2nd: Bell's Dandiroyal Rita Skeeter
This confident young Mustard lady possesses a pretty headpiece, nice reachy neck and a very smartly presented jacket. A lovely type of Dandie but not the body shape of 1. Moved well both ends.
3rd: McKenzie's Inzievar Gold Belle
Open Bitch1st: Chapman-King's Inzievar Gold Spark
This glorious Mustard lady, now 3? yrs, is one I have admired from the ringside but judged today for the first time. She swept into the ring and owned it instantly. She possesses a beautiful feminine headpiece with lovely stop, super expression and correct dentition. Her profuse topknot and correctly placed fine ears complete the picture. Her nicely arched neck leads into well laid shoulder and nice front assembly. A beautiful quality coat covers a well muscled body. Correct length, depth and spring of rib, well set tail and a body shape that fits the standard exactly/ Her beautifully smooth movement took her round ?her? ring to take the CC (her long overdue 3rd) and BEST IN SHOW.
2nd: Milton's Ch. Hawkesmill Jenny for Wilmit
This is the second time I have judged this quality Pepper Dandie bitch, and the second time I have awarded her the RCC. She is an eye-catching exhibit with lovely head properties, dark eyes and super expression. She has well placed ears, good topknot and correct bite. Her nice neck and shoulders lead into a nice front with well boned legs and feet. She is well muscled throughout. She has matured nicely since I last judged her, and her coat is beautifully presented. She moves really soundly and with confidence, with well carried tail and as one with her handler. She is an honest Dandie with that extra bit of glamour that has made her the champion she is and RESERVE BEST IN SHOW.
3rd: Denham's Dentgate Fire Opal
Veteran Bitch1st: Kinsey-Morgan's Inzievar Gold Effect
Have judged this 7yrs old Mustard before but never saw her looking better than today. I had written in my book that she moved like a youngster. Lovely headpiece with sweet expression, shown in well prepared coat of quality. Lovely body shape. BEST VETERAN IN SHOW.
2nd: Sleight's Cassencarrie Madelaina at Bonnybeck
Another mustard lady of the same age. Also enjoying her day out and moving smartly. Not quite the body shape of 1.
